ABOUT THE ROLE
Starting date: ASAP; April
Contract: Freelance, 6 months
Location: Vienna, Austria
Compensation: 3000€ gross monthly fee
Working hours: 30 hours per week
What you'll do:
Marketing
You will be the main expert of your city, knowing all the coolest millennial events, venues, parties and bars
You will organize different types of marketing activities including events, sampling, guerrilla, finding new partners in the city, sponsoring events such as stand-up comedy nights, open cinemas,vintage markets, gym chains and more
Branded events organization, leading and managing the events entirely on your own and coordinating staff supporting you, managing deadlines, logistics and relationships with partners and venues
Location check and on-site events support
Proactive research of new partnerships and sponsorships
Supporting with acquiring new local influencers
Managing storage and logistics of materials
Community
Community Development & Engagement – Act as the main reference for the local community, fostering engagement and ensuring a vibrant #lifeasaWeRoadcommunitymember experience through events like WeMeet and AperiRoad
Event & Partner Management – Scouts, selects, and onboards event creators, hosts, and suppliers, securing top-quality locations and ensuring seamless event execution
Performance & Operations – Guarantees event volume, tracks performance, and supports organizers to maintain high-quality experiences
Cross-functional Collaboration – Works closely with country teams and marketing, providing event hosts and creators while contributing to the continuous growth of the local event portfolio.
What we’re looking for:
You are well integrated into your city's nightlife and know the organizers and managers of the main venues and events for millennials
You are familiar with events and venues, festivals, millennial hang-out places, and lifestyle trends of millennials in your city
You live in the city (crucial for marketing operations)
You are flexible with your time - some events and marketing activations will take part in evenings or on weekends (to be redeemed)
You are either self-employed or a freelancer. We’re not looking for agencies or present agency employees due to the high time flexibility required within this role
You have a network of contacts in your city that you can leverage (potential marketing partners, venues, events etc.)
You are able to prioritise WeRoad as a client, and put that extra effort into your work to achieve extraordinarily
Ability to perform under stress and be collaborative and supportive in teamwork
Ability to plan in detail and solve problems on your own
Negotiation skills, applicable to partners, stakeholders, venues managers
